I have a Bodyguard .380 and the clip pops out way to easy. In fact, I don't even have to press the release button. I can just wiggle the clip a little and it pops out with ease. I usually have this as my pocket carry and every time I go to take it out of my pocket, the clip has popped out. Anyone else having this issue and what do I need to do to remedy this?

You may have a defective magazine (try another if you have it), or a defective magazine catch or spring. If all the mags won't latch, I would suspect the gun and send it back to the factory under the warranty.

If you take the slide off and even take apart the magazine you can look though the grip when you insert the mag to see if it looks like things are engaging the way they should.

I had this problem with my Bodyguard. I had S&W send me a new mag release and replaced the old one with no issues. The bad part is you have to fully disassemble the pistol to get the mag release out, i.e. remove the pins and chassis.
Whatever the reason....
Whatever the cause or reason, I'd send it back and let them fix it. I don't want a gun that drops the mag, even a little bit.
