Rolled my own 10xx mags

I've been collecting all the parts over the last few months, ordering from Numrich and Midway when I have enough items to get free shipping. The only mod I had to make was to narrow the buttplate catch from .482" to .441". Total cost was $49.17 per mag!

That's how I made mine but they were a bit more. Nobody hadthe catch plates except a guy on EBay that wanted $10.00 ea.

Shortly after buying a bunch I got an email from Numrich that 45xx catch plates were in...

I've made/assembled 3. I used the 4013 catch plates so no catch plate narrowing was necessary. Even though they're shorter( by about 1/8") than the 10mm catch plate,they locked in perfectly to the base.

Were the catches made correctly other then being too wide? The ones I bought from Numrich were made upside down. The bump out that locks in the butt plate was facing up toward the spring.

Sorry...just revisited this thread and saw your question. The butt plates I got were in the correct orientation.
