Looking to upgrade a recently acquired 910 and am thinking of some new springs (of course & I already replaced the hammer spring); sights, metal guide rod, (I already put some new Uncle Mike grips on to thin it out), and....??

Would like some specific suggestions (especially if you've done it to one of your guns) and if you have a source for what you're suggesting that would be much appreciated.

I've got an almost new 5946 (DAO) that BMCM worked over and he suggested making it DA/SA so I did. It's the equivalent to 5906 and he did a fantastic job.

Still looking for suggestions....

What did your 5946 need? Before you had the SA/DA conversion.
Pros / cons- i have a few, you have me thinking....
5906 is on my radar now that I have my 5946s (i like DAO).

GOLD - trigger, hammer, takedown lever, safety, mag release- give that "Economy model" 910 the over the top gold treatment !!

Redcoat3340,
IMHO, unless there’s some hidden damage you haven’t mentioned, you’ve done what needs to be done. My suggestion would be to take the money you’re planning to spend and put it into ammo or reloading components and just shoot it! Don't spend a lot of money fixing what isn’t broken or adding stuff you don’t need. If OTOH, you discover a feature you want to add later, it will be money well spent.
JMHO & YMMV!

I agree, just thought he wanted to "fancy" it up since he took care of everything else.

Gold...never thought of that. Wonder if this will work...no one will ever know it ain't real.

(And it think you're rightl...if I can find some sights that fit (having a bit of trouble finding any that aren't discontinued or out of stock) I think I'll call it a day...and put some $$ into something else.)
