1,000 yard target with the 929

Sure did not look like he was holding very high? Looked like a flat hold. Check 48 secs in.

Would Jerry play with us like that? I think so...with a flat hold it is about 236 feet of drop. Most men can't hit a thousand yard shot with a sniper rifle. I will go ahead and raise the BS flag. He would not even be able to see that balloon or target at that range and the MOA would be a whopping 271. Can't believe it, I think he is pulling one over on us. The Legend of Jerry...he is good but not that good.

Can you actually even see the target at 1000 yards without magnification? I don't think so.

Not to mention the revolver would have to be pointed so high that the target would not even be in the sight picture. Just doesn't make sense.

What would he gain by lying? I'm so sick of the internet crowd always calling something fake because they cannot do it or they never seen it. Is this fake too?

I'm glad you still have faith, and I have some oceanfront property in Arizona I will sell you cheap.

You can post all of your numbers that you want. You were not there and you do not see what he sees through the sight. Just because you cannot do it does not mean it cannot be done.

Jerry is likely the best revolver shooter of our time. Just check for other u-tube videos of him.
Jerry is da' Man.

Though the shot is hard for the average shooter to even comprehend I say NO WAY Jerry would jeopardize his career or the name of Smith and Wesson by posting BS. My money is on the man. I will agree with pharmer and say the balloon was popped by splash. The hit on the steel is low left. The balloon was center. Regardless just getting a round on that steel is mind boggling.

I wonder how many free Hornady Bullets it took? Give me free Guns, free range time and free Ammo and some practice and I will show you some cool trick shots too.....You can also bet that they where Handloads,Not off the shelf Factory Ammo.
