S&W has yet to release any ban state compliant version of the 3 Spec Series models.
However, there are persistent rumors that S&W will announce other steel frame models later this year or at next year's SHOT Show. This seems plausible to me, as it seems unlikely that S&W would go though the trouble of a steel frame for only 5,000 pistols.
