1006 Need fixed Night Sights

Hi Everyone

I have recently acquired a very nice S &W 1006 with fixed sights.

I really like the gun but would like to put nights sights on it.

I saw some night sights supposedly for a 1006 on Midwayusa and called S&W with the S &W part numbers associated with those items and S & W said that those were a no go.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Check Brownells/Trijicon. My part number books are downstairs, but you can probably find something at either website. Or, Wayne Novak.

Frankly, I got along just fine with just a front night sight. If you are far enough away that you need both front & rear, you're better off with a flashlight.

Another alternative is to send the slide to Novaks in Parkersburg, WV to install Novak night sights. They put new Novak sights on my 915 and my 5906. They do excellent work for a reasonable price, and do it right.
