12-3 price Check?

LGS called me tonight. Say they got in a 12-3 (2", RB) 95% in the box with orig stocks. I'm guessing that I could get it for about $300.

Never seen these offered, so any opinions if this seems reasonable?

That is a good price as described. There is one on an online auction site today that is similar, and already over this amount with no box.

Make sure the frame is not cracked under the barrel. Last one I went to buy at the LGS, a pristine example, had a cracked frame.

The cracked frame I saw on a 12 was a no-dash. I believe they thickened the frame by dash 2.
