If you collect stamps, sports memorabilia, etc. you are considered normal. When your hobby is collecting guns, prepare to be judged. To me, guns are an investment. One of the few things that, at the very least, won't lose value over time and are likely to increase in value.
The guns will still be sought after when nobody remembers who these Hollywood doofuses ( doofi?) are.

This point is so important that it should never be forgotten. Every single "reasonable" restriction proposed by the anti-gun side is for them merely one step closer to their ultimate goal of total prohibition.

25 is a fair number of guns...probably if we were honest with ourselves more than any of us would "Need" to meet our " everyday needs"....... at least $12,000....more like $18,000 to $20,000 at a minimum....unless you are a collector or an inattentive accumulator.......
3% (9,000,000 people) doesn't sound out of line.
Edit to add: 9,000,000 X 25 = 225,000,000 guns......... out of 300,000,000.....looks like the rest of the adult population only owns 1 each..
In Pa.... less than 8% of the population have concealed carry permits.... I don't think any State is higher than 9-10%

I hang with a lot of gun folks so it's easy to get a distorted view of the norm. Still, I'd be surprised if much more than 3% have 25 or more guns. On the other hand, I was surprised to read that only 3% of Texans had a carry permit. Eh... I know what's in my safe and it's not much of my business what's in yours anyway. And it sure as heck ain't none of the government's business.

10,076/365 days per year=27.6 deaths per day.
That is the equivalent of one Sandy Hook per day for EVERY day of the year.
Where is the outrage? Where is the call for closing all bars and liquor stores? Where is the outcry for background checks on everyone who buys alcohol?
Most people drink in one form or another, most people don't own firearms. End of discussion....

They really are after your guns,make no mistake about it. Many of the most vocal have armed guards close by as well.
I remember reading a similar story about T Shruggs, linebacker with the Baltimore Ravens. In the article, it continually described his "Arsenal" which was really about 6 or 8 guns. I think Shruggs makes about 5 million or so a year. I told my friends at work if I made that kind of money and only had 8 guns, I'd be ashamed of myself.

LOL.... The use of "Arsenal" should be restricted to households with more ARs or M-1A1 than people living in the house.......... subject to a minimum of 10... lined up in a wall rack with web gear and at least 14 30 rd mags/rifle.

That said, I think the biggest threat isn't the rank and file gun grabbing zealots, but rather their compromising accomplices like NRA life member, West Virginia Senator, Joe Manchin. Most are likely aware of Manchin's support in 2013 of nationwide universal background checks on private sales. And he was at it once again this year speaking out and against NRA backed bill in WV for a version of Constitutional carry.
Listen to this guy... NRA life member or Bloomberg?

Sean Penn is more clever than you guys give him credit for. What he actually said was something along the lines of that he gave up all his personal firearms in the continental United States... Thus exempting Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, etc as well as any held by trusts, holding companies, on a ship in international waters, etc.
A person could amass 60 Hi Points, Lorcins, busted up Carcano sporters, etc to melt down to impress a woman for less than ten grand. At Sean Penn's income level, a not unknown or unreasonable amount to spend to impress a woman. Or to shut her up. You will get more than that in return on investment from the publicity being attached to a famous actress gives your own career.

13 guns. I had twice that many at the age of 14...at least. 10 yrs later I got married and sold 63 shotguns and bought a house..I guess I have NEVER recovered. Boy that hurt!!
