All I can say is I wish it had known about these pistols sooner.

Nice gun! You did well and should end up with between $450-$500 into the gun itself.
Shipping is $45, sales tax will add another $40 and the dealer transfer should cost you $40-$50. That brings the total up to about $700.

The presentation case is for an N frame (29-2) and is worth $200-$250. If you don't have a 8-/8" 29-2 in need of a case, sell it online.

Thanks for the heads up! I don't have a need for the case and will post it promptly after I receive it.

How did you do? You made out like a bandit, that's how you did. I recently paid $750 for one like it, without the box and tools, and was happy to get it for that price. Nice buy!.

Took possession this week. The thing appears to have never been fired. The bluing is perfect and the cylinder is stiff to open and close. All the paperwork for the pistol is under the blue velvet plastic. The plastic is not in the greatest shape shape will send some
pics soon. I don't even want to shoot it. The trigger and action are much stiffer than the 14-2 well used gun I bought. Lock up on each cylinder is extremely tight. The rear sight is adjusted very far to the left which is a little alarming.

I think you did OK. Those normally sell for around $1K in that condition. Seems like the long barrel ones are less desirable than the shorter ones.
