15-22D, with flash hider

Just saw this in the New For 2010 broshure from S&W. It shows a 15-22 D that comes with the flash hider.

I'm still waiting till they get all these reliability issues corrected before I plunk down that kind of cash for a .22LR. Maybe by summer I'll start looking seriously.

I have the 15-22 "A1" with the flash hider. I wonder what the difference is...

I'm an idiot. It was just the way they pictured it in the broshure. It was item "D" on the page.

1250+ rounds in two days

Purchased my 15-22 ver.D on Thursday of last week. Shot 200 rounds of 6 y/o American Eagle ammo and had some failure to eject. Switched to some newly purchased Federal Ammo (Bulk pac), and shot 1050 rounds within two days. I cleaned the rifle once after the first 525 then shot the next 525 the next day. Proudly to say that not one Failure to fire and not one Failure to eject.
