Just picked up a lnib 15-3. Bought it through GB. Appeared unfired. Standard trigger and hammer. Grips are not numbered to the gun.

It now has 200 rounds through it and new grips. Very nice shooter.

Would like the ship date if anyone can help. 15K0978

According to the SCSW 15K would have been made in 1977.
Enjoy your new Model 15-3 Combat Masterpiece.

BTW, I see your a .22lr fan by the empty .22 casings in the pic.
If you enjoy your Model 15 and also enjoy .22lr the same exact gun is available in .22lr as the model 18.

Price on GB $499 +$25 shipping, $15 at the club for background/transfer fee. $539 otd. I NEEDED this gun to round out my 3's. 19-3 4&6", 18-3, 17-3, 14-3. The 4" 19-3 was NIB for a little over $800. I probably won't do that again since I shoot all my guns. It did give me a good idea on what to look for to determine if a gun has been shot much at all. The new 15 had not.

Thanks for the shipping info.

Like it, and your new grips! I have a 67 no dash from 1973. ( stainless 15) Have Ahrends on it. Good shooter, but I need more quality range time with it. Enjoy your new 15! Bob

Very nice, I just purchased my first Model 15 and should get it in a couple of days. It is in the original box (Bangor Punta), factory nickel, tools, no paperwork, no original wrapper. I think it is a 15-2 if my memory is correct. The seller, a widow, did not know if it was ever shot. I also found out she also has a blued K-38 Masterpiece (Model 14) with box tools, no papers, no wrapper in the original box for the same price as she sold me the Model 15. I don't really have the money to tie up but I don't run across things like this often. I think the price is right at $350.00/revolver although I plan to use them like my other well worn S&W's.

Congrats on the 15. I just picked one up a couple of weeks ago from a friend of mine. It is killing me because I cannot get out and shoot it yet because the previous knuckle head owner mounted a scope. So not only does it have an extra hole drilled in it, it is missing a rear sight. I have one coming this week though along with a few jetloaders. That is going to be my new IDPA gun.

I'd like to talk to the widow as well. Maybe some of her friends have old guns laying around the house as well.

My 15-3 makes a 4 gun run, 15-1,-2,-3 & 4. The addiction continues.

Very, very nice!! One of my favorites is also a 15-3 4". I don't know what it is, but there is just something about those model 15's.

Sweet! Congrats. I just bought a Model 10-4 made in 1969-70 that isn't pristine but is still in pretty good condition and appears to have spent its life sitting in a drawer unloved. Looks like the owner may have fired a box through it, but that's it. A few scratches here amd there and a couple of tiny rust spots that have mostly polished away. I was torn between the 10 and a 15-4, but the 10 was a little cheaper and in better condition. You've got me wanting to go back and pick up the 15 now.

I picked up a 15-3 from GB a couple of years ago...not quite as pristine as yours but close. About as nice a .38 revolver as was ever made.

Great looking purchase and I'm just saying also that the model 18 22LR is a perfect fit. The weigh the same and they have the same exact feel when shooting.

I'll get a shot of all my 3s together soon. Here's my 18-3

I agree, they feel exactly the same until recoil.

Congrats, she's beautiful. Mine is waiting on a set of Ahrends right now. These are great revolvers, shoot as good as they look.

Beautiful - congratulations! I have its somewhat earlier twin
(1K138XX) from ~1970. One odd thing I like about it is it has the original price sticker on the box from a local, long ago closed, sporting goods store showing "$97.50." That was about a month's rent then, but I sure would love to fire up the old time machine now and go back with a full wallet.
