15-4 nib should I buy it ?

I did get it its allready growing on me, perfect condition. I think this was one of the last Bangor Punta produced 15's If you look close enough in the yoke the 15-4 is stamped over 19 maybe they were using up the last of the parts they had before the company changed hands?

A guy I know was willed a what appears to be a nib 4" blued mod 15-4 K 38 circa 1981 for sale. It has the original bangor punta blue box with all the papers and wrinkled vapor paper, Im not really a 38 special guy but I do like the older pinned guns, I checked the gun out and it looks like if its been shot it hasnt been shot much. He's firm at $300 it seems like a good deal to me,what do you guys think.

The gun you described at $300....buy it!

You got an absolutely great deal! I've been looking for a good M-15, and would gladly pay $400. Around here, they're going for $450-500, if you can find one.

I hate to think of people selling guns they were willed, but you are LUCKY that someone didn't beat you to this one, if all's well with it.

As penance for having even asked that question, you should post plenty of pics!! :D

ANY NIB S&W .38 is worth at least $300 these days, usually more.

In San francisco Bay Area, 300.00 for a 15-4 LNIB is more like a gift. :) Like if it was free. I paid a total of 350.00 for a 99.9% no box 15-4 with minty target stocks. Around here its a steal.
