Thought I'd post one of my favorites.

Always a good range trip when I toss this beauty into the range bag 😁

How does the 15 8-3/8” differ from the 14 8-3/8”? I thought the 15 only was available in 4”. I have a 14 8-3/8” I absolutely love.
The Model 15 has been offered in 2", 4", 6" and 8 3/8" variations over the years

I wish I had never sold my 2", but I was in College and needed cash. I love that adjustable sighted snubby

I think that the Doug Turbul color case hardened Model 15s are some of the best looking.

200 of the 4" were planned to be built with the modern profile

150 0f the 6" McGivern Special were ordered. These were built on a revised frame that brought back the 4th sideplate screw.

An additional 150 were ordered in Blue and another 150 in nickel both with 6" skinny barrels.

I need to shoot a photo of my long barreled Model 14

M15 also came in 5”, my brother has one. I Shot it last September.

I’ve got a 4” M14 and a 2” M15….

I can never remember which barrel length was more common to what model, only 14= heavy, and 15 = tapered profile?

Who shot the target?

What distance?

I did, just putzing around at 10 yards after I got the sights dialed in.

The rear sight makes it hard to miss. I always guessed it was a Millett target sight. I'm positive someone here knows better than I do and can confirm or correct my guess.

Even at 10 yards, that still good shooting. If those squares are one inch, that group equates to 3.25 at 25, which again, is very good shooting. I think the hole at 1 o’clock is a double, possibly a triple, not that it matters.

Thank you, between the balance, sight, and long sight radius it's a laser beam.

I have a 14 I picked up about four years ago that I have yet to shoot. Stopped in at my LGS and it was under the glass with a $450 price tag. The cylinder was a little sluggish but I took a gamble that it was just gummed up with old oil. The gamble paid off, a thorough cleaning and ia new rebound spring and it's smooth as butter.

(Those are dummy rounds, I was dry firing to test everything after reassembly.)

The 15-5 with his older brother, 4" 15-1.

The 15-1 was given to me by a good friend who carried it as his duty firearm in the 60's. It's been re-blued but it's still a beauty to me.

I’ve posted this before but here’s my M15. I bought it over 30 years ago and mechanically it was excellent but cosmetically it was a train wreck. I bought it for my son to shoot in IPSC matches and knew it would be exposed to rain and dirt so I decided to rehab it. I has a master smith I knew do a really slick trigger job, replace the front sight and have it electroless nickel plated. It’s a fabulous revolver now with one of the best revolver triggers I’ve ever shot.

I had forgotten about the 2” and would love to own one.
