There are lots of good 158gr factory loads, but if you are looking for the all lead SWC you wont find it from the Big Three.

There are many smaller ammunition companies that load swaged or cast all lead SWC's in .357.

A couple I can think of are Georgia Arms and Precision Delta, and I'm certain that board memebers will know some others. I've never used ammo from any of them because I cast and load my own, but most of these companies seem to have a good reputations.

Leading is only a problem if you load it too hot.

The old Remington 158gr lead .357 mag load was known for being a terrible bore leading round. According to an old Guns and Ammo Annual the published velocity was 1,410 fps from a 8-3/4" barrel. The only 158gr lead loads for the .357 magnum that I know made by manufacturers of new ammo is for the Cowboy action shooting crowd and they are Black Hills and Ultramax. These loads conform to the lower velocity requirement for Cowboy action matches and will likely not have the velocity of the early Remington ammo.

There are some commercial re-manufacturers that sell 158gr lead SWC .357 mag ammo and you see it for sale at Cabellas and other catalog sources.

Federal makes a 180gr lead cast core bullet for hunting but its not inexpensive at over $20/20 rounds.
