i have aquired a 17-3 which isnt in great shape but price was good, well the cylinder is not 100% 5 of the 6 rounds will fire but 1 will not due to the seat being wore out, i was wondering if there was a place i could pick up a new/used cylinder and have it fit to the gun so all rounds will fire?.....

I cant see the seat being worn out... I believe that you can get a slightly longer firing pin instead.
Hopefully someone will come along and tell you if you can get one from Smith and Wesson.
Peter.

the seat is gone , it is hard to belive and i wish my camra would pick up the seat, but when you look at the cylnder you can spot the wore seat quickly, it looks as if someone took a step drill bit and just reamed it out slightly so it makes that round sit just slighly lower than the others and just out of reach of the fireing pin
