Give or take, and I'll be headed home from the sandbox. Sorry I haven't been on much, but I've been a little busy trying to keep track of a Battalion of MPs spread out over Al Anbar Province. Kind of like herding cats, only harder. It's been an interesting year, to say the least, but it's almost over. Just wanted to pop in and say a quick "Thank you" to everybody that posed their support. I plan to be a regular visitor to the Forum again after I get home. And in case anybody Stateside asks, yes, we have made a huge difference in this country. I was here in 04-05, and the change in the Iraqi people is very noticeable. They still have a long way to go, and they will never be a US style democracy, but they're a whole lot better off than they were.

P.S. The good lookin' fella standing next to the MRAP is me.

Keep your head down for the next couple of weeks, and come on back to Texas. After being there, it will feel like a cold front here. Thanks for serving.

Hope you have a fast, safe and wonderful trip home. God Bless you for your service.

SHORT!!!!

I'm so short, you can't see me.
I'm so short, ALL bullets go over me.
I'm so short, midgets can step over me.
I'm so short, I'll drown next time it rains.

THANKS for what you did.
Stay safe.
Travel well.
Godspeed.

Be safe and thanks again!! Let us know as soon and you touch down in the homeland!

Hey, you'll be home just around Independence Day! Stay safe over thar and thank you (and all the rest of our military personnel) for your service. I think you ought to treat yourself to a nice coming home gift, say, a new or new-to-you S&W revolver. Think about it. :D

Thanks for doing what you do... and giving us a positive update.

Even if you're getting a DILLIGAS or FIGMO attitude. It's well deserved.

Lay Dog and don't get near any bullet or RPG Magnets.
Congradulations, nothing like getting to the end of a tour.
And Thank you for Your Service to this Country and its Citizens.

Thank you for serving our country, particularly in its time of need. It is truly amazing that our nation continues to produce men and women who step up to the plate and risk all there is to risk for others.

God bless you and those with whom you serve.

Stay safe...I'm glad you are coming home soon.
