Working on my Revolver commercial skills…
Perceived value based on photograph quality and presentation is huge, ven though every gun I have ever bought that shows up at my local FFL Has the same blue. Maybe a 1 or 2% difference of some sort, but it’s basically the same as the last one.
The photographs, however, can look entirely different based on light.
Being a newbie, this is kind of surprising to me because I would assume that people buying these revolvers have bought plenty before and know that they all come through pretty much the same, yet the price is paid vary wildly depending on photo quality.

If I was a buyer I wouldn’t like those pics. It’s not a good representation of the finish. To many shadows and reflections.

Right. I wondered about that.
Looks cool in a photo but an experienced buyer should know the difference.
They don’t represent what you actually see in person.
Bit of experimenting on my part.
With this said, AK arms, Atlas and several others on Gunbroker tend to get top dollar for items that I know will not look like they do in their photographs.

I seem to like the look when photographed on a burgundy or red background, I use some fancy cloth dinner napkins that don't wrinkle.
The blue gun on black doesn't quite have enough contrast IMO.

Especially for blued firearms. Correct lighting helps although blued examples, (and nickel,) images can sometimes be more difficult than stainless ones. Too much “glare” looks like finish wear which is not there.

I find sometimes they are so shiny I can’t tell if it’s nickel or blue. It goes both ways too. It’s nickel and can’t tell or it’s blue and can’t tell. Tricks in the photo to my eyes I guess.

Believe it or not, this is a blue taken in morning light.
You’d be a hard pressed to tell except for looking at the front sight, and even that doesn’t totally give it away..
