My 1911 smith has shot 5 inches high for myself and others with ball ammo since the day I got it. It currently has the novak 3 dot sights on it. I am thinking about putting some nights sights on it to cure the shooting high and lack of visibility isssues. I was looking at some trijicon and meprolite sights. Trijicon sights have gotten good reviews but I like the meprolite sights that kimber has been putting on their 1911's.
