I saw a NIB Colt Commander in bright stainless at a shop recently & the price was $795. It has a 5" barrel. After doing much research I believe it's a Model 04691 but did not get the model # off the box (I need to do that Monday). My research shows the price is in the ballpark for that model but everything I read says it should have a 4 1/4" barrel. Only the word Commander is stamped on the slide. Aynone familiar with these "O" series guns that might be able to explain the 5" barrel on it. I'm very tempted to just buy it since it looks so good but I'm hopping my guess is right on the model because of the bright stainless finish. I don't want to overpay either on this model. The only other model with a 5" barrel is 01091 but that is a Gov't model.
