I was standin on the platform when the mail train ran this morning.
Been watching for the eagle to fly my way fur a day or two.

Some of life's best surprises come in those little USPS priority boxes for sure.
And today was no exception. Got mail from Keith Brown.

Anytime we receive a package from Keith, it's a real treat fur sure.
As I carefully open the box and unwrapped the goodies in the bubble wrap,
low and behold a pair of extra fancy pre-war magna style stocks did appear.

My first thought was,"I don't own anything good enough to put these on!"

Having ordered this pair from Keith with the idea of dressin my RM up a little bit,
I got the ol gal outta the strong box and put 'er new britches on her...All dressed up fer ya'll,

Once again thanks to Keith Brown for his skills and talent.
Also, many thanks to Dick Burg and Lee Jarrett for their kindness and generous help in this project.

I've got to check some stock later today, I guess the ol gal will tag along for the ride, ;):D

Wells, she did tag along...Found a trash saplin in the woodline,
stuck a Cope lid on it and waa laa a suitable target for shootin at.
Course I've been camped on the green side of the Red River for a spell now.

From about 50 or 60 feet holdin two handed with my reading glass run down on my beak,
Recon she'll do to "ride the river with' as the ol hands say...

I carry 'em, use 'em, shoot 'em and give 'em a chance to earn an honest livin'.

Hey partner, those are some nice stocks! Nice old 357 too. Heck, it's a great combination...but you knew that. (smile)

Hope you and that ol' pistol have a good ride.

Dave

Glad to hear you are feeling good enough to get out and kick up a little dust.

Keith's stocks make that RM a really classy set up.

Good job.

OK, everybody else please post only ugly guns for the rest of the day. If I see any more envy-provoking classic revolvers before tomorrow, I'm going to lock myself in a closet. Then who will feed the cats this evening?

Nice. Too nice by half. Well, more than half, actually. Way more.

Dave,

I don't wanna hear ya been crawlin through a bobwar fence with that'un on your hip. Ya hear?

Bob

Dave and that Wyo feller ain't got any respect for fancy rigs.

They'll crawl through fences, waller around in the sage brush and I don't know whut all.

Wyo had me shootin' AT pasture poodles with a Registered Magnum.
No respect I tell ya.

Yup

Bob,
I'll look fer a low spot so's I can step over it :D

Them short brush popper jackets don't protect a man's handgun much atall from that wire ;)

Su Amigo,
Dave

Those Pre-war Magnas are at least as nice as anything S&W ever made from walnut. A perfect project for Keith as they are from an era when quality craftsmanship was the hallmark. And a perfect complement for your RM.
About half the reason I just bought this M-24-3 was the KB Ropers, it never even occured to me to put the factory targets on the gun.

Lovely... got another set being made (Coke-style targets) for a nice 25-2. Here's the first set Keith made for me on my non-registered magnum:

There's not a man on this board that doesn't want to go along to check the stock. Have a good day.

OK, Dave, between the ivory and the KB's, you're beginnin' to make me feel bad! But there just ain't nothin' quite as nice as havin' the finest of somethin', and I'd say you got 'em there! Very, very classy!

Keith's stocks/grips are the absolute best and on top of it ,he is a heck of a nice guy and a great guy to do business with. I am the very satisfied owner of several of his sets and could not be more pleased. Joe.
