This is the detailed information I have on the 1939 catalog. It has a price list included. As a stand alone item, price would be $75.00 - $100.00. A price list would add $20.00 to $25.00, an envelope $25.00.

Sorry but I sometimes think outside the square and you post doesn't give much info.
Don's information is completely correct for the "real" 1939 catalog.
There are other possibilities for non S&W catalog enthusiasts.
In 1939 there is the "catalogue P3" correctly called "price list of parts".
There is also the reprint of Stroger Arms Catalog pages, this is not a S&W catalog, and could catch out a few novices.
Both of these have the date 1939 on the front and could be seen to fit your description.
