MY BUDDIE HAS A K22 IN BOX. SER K34XXX CIRA 1948. GRIPS NUMBERED TO GUN. BOX NUMBERED TO GUN BY GREASE PENCIL ON BOTTOM OF BOX. NO THING ELSE IN BOX, NO PAPER OR TOOL KIT. SOLID 98%, VERY FAINT LINE ON CYLINDER. WHATS IT'S REAL VALUE? TIA JIM P

That is probably a $1000, or slightly higher, piece. there were lots of K22s, but that is a pretty nice one. I see them asking $1300-1400 but I don't see tons that sell at that.

The K-22 from 1948 in this shot of two was $675 last July. And yes I agree I stole it...

I have its 1948 brother box and all paid 1000.00 over here on the north west coast. But its very nice and so is the box and SAT. JIM

I picked one (1947) up at Cabels in Reno a few years ago for $800 and that was just the K22 without a box and etc. I have to say that you will do well purchasing it. Then get out and shoot it, if you haven't had one before, you're in for a real treat. Here's a picture of mine.

I paid 800.00 for my pre-18 but I wanted that particular one. Asking price is always negotiable if you're high, and your picture says very nice indeed so I would think a 1000.00. A lot of money kind of equals how bad does one want it.

Around $800 as described. But if he's a real good friend, he'll just give it to you for Christmas.

Depends on the venue and how motivated the seller is. A $700 to $1000 price range would be expected. I kicked myself for passing up a nice-condition late 1940s K-22 in its box priced at $750 early this year. And the seller would probably have accepted less. But I had my eye on something else that day.
