Trying to get a handle on what a Target Model 1950 4th change, .44 Spec. should sell for. Asking price is $2,400.00 + shipping.

97%+ on condition
No box
Not matching grips.

Thanks and appreciate any input.

Overpriced for a 6.5" gun with no box and non orig grips. For any other factory barrel length (4" or 5") or if it is an original nickel gun that would be a buy it now price.

Thank you. I felt it was high as well. It is a 6.5" and I was thinking more like $1,800.00-$1,850.00 shipped without box and numbered grips (it has a custom set of walnut magnas on it that are nice but not factory). Does that sound fair? I don't want to insult anyone but I have only been building my collection a few years and trying to be sure I can get my money back some day when I am too old to safely handle them.

Given your description, I'm thinking in the $1400-$1500 range. A 4" brite blue with original grips in high condition would most likely be in the $3500 range.

I've got one (6 1/2") that did not have correct stocks on it when purchased. With the help of forum members it now sports non-relieved targets. It shipped to Honolulu, HI in April, 1954. It is one of my favorite guns and I have about $2000 in it. I'm not complaining at all at that price. It all depends on what you really want. They only made 5050 of them according to SCSW.
