Since I finally learned how to post pics I thought I'd share my model 10.
The condition and the factory box made me want it something fierce!
The fact that the owner was willing to trade for a shield plus (that I had $400 in) was icing on the cake!

Congrats! Looks to me like you got yourself a good deal. That bluing looks deep.

Just took my 1972 10-5 4" to the range for the first time today. Here's the first four shots from 10 yards rested. I think it's a keeper.

That's not a 6" bbl?

Here's a visual reference point for you: Always look at the distance between the front locking lug under the barrel in relation to the front sight on top of the barrel. The difference between a 5" and a 6" barrel will become immediately obvious.
