Nice Shorty 45.

The Shorty 9 was the one that took me awhile to get. Then a seller on GB had one for sale a week for three weeks. I got the last of the three and bidding was low and slow. Lucky for me.

Which Shorty 40 is yours? I notice it has front cocking serrations. I jokingly say I’m going to send mine to guzzitaco for him to do the PC cut that other than the MK3’s the Shorty 40’s never had.

4T5GUY, the shorty 40 pictured is a unique one. I had it lettered, and it came back as one of 12 (I believe) that was issued to sales reps for marketing purposes. I don't currently have access to my LOA to confirm the time frame. Based on serial prefix "PCZ" I'm leaning towards the MK3 period. I also have a MK2 with "SPC" prefix. No forward serrations on that one.

Sweet. That’s a new one on me. Wish Chip was still active here, he would have been very interested.

Got my excellent condition 40 real cheap, ($460.00,) and local enough to save. Got an excellent condition MK3 parts group for what I think was cheap too. It can be just a “Frankensmith” but it runs as good as it looks. If you find that you ever need any parts let me know.

Sorry for the thread drifting a bit.

I'll have to see if I have pictures . I have a Shorty 40 & 45 , and a Recon 40 & 45 . The 9's never really interested me , I have enough PC 9's . The recoil is not bad at all on any of mine . Now my CS40/10mm , that's the kicker . Load up some personal defence rounds , and it'll talk to you . It's nice to see some PC talk once in a while , thanks Dino44 !
