1st Post Apologies

Members, I just posted a question on the M&P 15. My apologies for not putting up an intro.
Truth is I've been a S&W owner and a lurker for a loooong time, and just took it for granted.
I'm in beautiful (and cold) south central Colorado mountains. Late 50's, multiple S&W owner (PD1911 edc, 442 sometime carry, M&P15 Sport + many previous).
I generally have more questions than answers, thus the Long Time Lurker status ;-)
