do we have some range reports on the full size mp 2.0 9mm, would like to get some views maybe if you think there is accuracy improvement over the regular m&p 9mm.

A comprehensive Kindle eBook review mentioned in another 2.0 thread here gives a good view, including features, comparisons between old & new, and accuracy results in the 2.0.

The early M&P's did have some accuracy issues but the newer 1.0 guns did not. So accuracy comparisons can be skewed depending on how old the 1.0 M&P is. I know a few people with M2.0's who claim they are slightly more accurate in their hands than more recently manufactured 1.0's, but that may also be a result of the improved trigger. There are few people that can shoot the M&P M2.0 as accurately is the gun can inherently shoot.

The barrel & slide relationship has been tightened up in the 9mm 2.0, the difference in accuracy isn't entirely the trigger.

I am aware of the geometry changes but am still waiting for someone to put one on a ransom rest to confirm that. Would love to see some testing and comparisons with the human elevant removed.

Buy the rest, buy the guns, and get back to us on your own results. :)

I wish. The inserts alone would break my bank account. A couple of guys were chatting about the M2.0 on the Sig forum and said they were going to test the M2.0 against a Sig using a random rest. I could not find a thread where they did just that. Surely one of the big name You Tube reviewers has a Ransom. I am sure the old inserts will still work.

Took my 4.25" to the range today. Forth time shooting. Trigger got a lot better. Accuracy great.

I've had my 2.0 9mm for just a few weeks. It is very accurate. In fact, one of the most accurate striker fired, polymer pistols I've ever shot. Very impressed.

I am very lmpressed with the 2.0,I have the first mp 9mm it is head and shoulder above it. Trigger was crisp accuracy was so much better. Shot some max tech 115 grain and some WWBox 147 grain jhp. It shot great point of aim was spot on grouping was great also. Little rough on the grip. But it's hundread precent better then the original MP. Just my opinion everone my be different.

I have 600 rounds through my 5" 2.0. It's extremely accurate but I do have to say I am not at all impressed with the trigger. It is better than V1 but still lags way behind compared to other brands. I'm getting a trigger job done on my right now. The grips are great but I smooth down the front grip a little.

I have two 2.0 9mm's, an FDE 5" and a black 4.25". Bench resting with several good reloads, the 5" gun is the more accurate, the 4.25 is below average compared with my other 9mm poly guns. . In offhand shooting, they are closely matched and about average for my poly guns. I think the 4.25" gun will benefit from load development since it's pretty accurate with one 147gr. fmj load. If these guns were as accurate as my CZ P-09, they would be my only poly 9mm's. The egos of the M&P 2.0 are the best of all my poly 9mm's.

"Extremely accurate" and "pretty accurate" are completely subjective terms that only mean something to the guy who uses them. :)

What size groups at what distance are you getting?
What you consider "good" may be what somebody else considers poor.
