2004 Colorado R.I.P.

The dotgov doesn't salt the roads where I live, but I do fish in the Pacific out of Half Moon Bay. I figure salt water is similarly corrosive.

I use this product for a final flush for my motors and trailer.

I keep it in a 2 gallon pump sprayer I got at OSH some time back.

Last year I backed... a wee bit too far down the ramp to retrieve my boat. Rear drums totally immersed. D'oH!

Sprayed them down thoroughly with this when I got home. Had the truck in for work recently, had the mechanic remove the drums and inspect springs and such. 100% A-OK.

It works.

Take a big blob of JB Weld and fabricate a new front holder to the rusted frame. Believe it or not but I used something similar to JB Weld but was a lot stronger and did just that. I jacked the broken piece up into place and globed the material around the two pieces. I let it sit with it still jacked up together for 24 hours. When I let the jack down the parts held together.
I sold the car a year later and the parts were still holding together.

Do you work on guns?

Best,
Rick
