A member of my gun club, that doesn't live that far from me is trying to get me into shooting falling plates at the club.
1st of all for rimfire, going to try my Smith 1911 frame with a Jonathan Arthur Ciener .22 slide on it. It has always functioned well in the past but not sure if it is up to this. Any feedback would be appreciated. This is not serious competition. Bob

As long as it functions reliably, it should be accurate enough to hit plates, probably being shot from 10-15 yards. I used a Kimber .22 top end and it functioned well on my Springfield 1911.
