I’m so sorry to hear of Iggy’s passing. He was a one of a kind and always seemed to make the holiday season just a little brighter because of his writings. Rest In Peace.

I think there is comfort in knowing that someone like Iggy will never be forgotten. Rest in peace absent comrade.

Although Chip didn’t mention it very much, I know he was extremely proud of this special Dan Wesson.
I don’t remember how it came up but he said he had a .45 and didn’t like its grips. I had extra Hogue’s and asked him if he wanted lighter or darker wood. I sent him the pictured ones and the hex screws. (I thought black would look better than stainless.)
I’m sharing the image he sent me after he had the grips on. He humbly explained the significance of this pistol and how much more he liked it with the different grips.
He will be universally missed and remembered.

Oh man, I just saw this. Iggy was an institution around here, his posts must-click sorts of things. The type of man and the type of American we need more of.
