I have seen this ammo in the past, but never bought any..
It is CCI 22 lr copper plated round nose,,40 gr,,1200 fps..
Comes in a bulk pack but the rds are not loose...
I am very high on CCI mini mags and would expect similar results with my 22's, ....
Any input on this round from users ?

Thanks, I agree CCI ammo is high quality..I was taken back by wording on the package..
"Optimized for reliable function in AR-22 platforms "
My concerns it may not be the best semi auto pistol round .The Federal Auto Match rd was a dud...

If CCI makes it, then it is as good as it gets... IMO

I agree.

AR optimization is a special world. Maybe the folks at Caliber 3 can tell you what they use in the .22LR ARs. Hundreds of rounds, maybe thousands, weekly, and not a single misfire while I was there.

Tell them a student tourist sent you.

I have some of this stuff. I was shooting it just the other day in an old Beretta. The mag holds 9 rounds and about once in every mag would have a FTF. I could turn it over and it would go off. Did bulk pack WM Winchester ammo too at about the same rate. I am certain it is the pistols fault because both ammos work perfectly in my 617 and Model 34.

That is reassuring !

Some of the best .22lr ammo on the market. I still have a few unopened boxes of the old stuff.

: UPDATE:
I just returned from a short range session with this ammo..Too cold and windy to do more than check the compatibility with my Walther P22 pistol..
I was doing a quick fire drill, 10 rds in 5 seconds or so..
In a word, Flawless 70 rds...
