.22 LR Shortage Is Over - NO WAY ! !

Well all I know is that I don't have any problem her in Charlotte finding .22LR. This is from one store yesterday at 4pm. No mad lines, no people running around like the world is coming to an end. Just piles of CCI......that one rack there in the middle with all of the Mini Mags on it...they were stacked 4 deep behind the ones in the front. I think all together there was over 28,000rnds of Mini's on there. I idn't even buy any .....because I don't need any.

 I wonder if it will look like that in a ew days....

If my local Dicks gets ammo it goes slowly the bass pro right next door sells out in a few hours and the shelves start as well stocked as this one or better.

Cabelas on-line is a joke, with a one box limit. The shipping is almost as much as the ammo cost.

That is why one that shoots a bunch, such as me, just needs to watch the in stock ammo thread & wait for the occasions where you can order good stuff by the case. By the case, freight is much more reasonable than ordering 50 or even 500 at a time.

Last week Palmetto was listed as having a couple of different ones with no limit. I picked up a case of 5000 of my favorite, CCI Standard Velocity. They were $4.99/50 pack, so right at .10 which nowadays is a good price for really good ammo. It didn't go real quick either as I checked the following day & it was still available. I have also gone to Champion Shooters Supply & picked up a case of Norma Tac-22, which is just as good, or better than CCI SV. A few months back, they had inventory that lasted for weeks. It is not available now but you can get on a notify list. I believe they are expecting more soon.

I was at the same store and saw the ammo. I have plenty of 22 so I passed. But it was the first time I saw Mini Mags on any shelf with no limits. Not that $8.49 a box plus tax was any kind of deal. But it was nice to see ammo sitting on the shelf for a change.
