Not enough to go on. Need more details!!! Frame size? Is there a preceeding 'K' in the serial? Pics would definitely help. It could be one of at least 4 drastically different models.

I agree - not enough information. Guess this how Roy feels, on occasion !

Is the gun a top break, meaning the gun breaks open from the top corner
of the frame, or is it a side-swing cylinder ? Is it a single-shot, or
multiple shot ?

Yes, I know, very limited. No preceding K.

He did say it has the small S&W Trade Mark on left side under the cylinder release. One line "Made in USA"
Side swing, 6 shot.

Other than that, I too am awaiting pics.

Sounds like an early Model 1953 Kit gun.
