For personal defense I carry one of two guns. First is a S&W 642 Airweight. It's a great little defensive weapon. It's light weight and compact making it easy to carry right in my pocket. Sometimes I even forget it's there. The only drawback is the 5-shot capacity. The second is a Ruger LC-9. Again small enough to fit right in my pocket. It is considerably heavier than the Smith but has an 8-round capacity (a 9-round mag is also available giving a 10-round capacity.) I know many have tried and many have failed but I'd love to see a .22 WMR pocket gun with a capacity of about 15 to 16-rounds. I can wish can't I.
