2214 Holster Help

Hey folks! My wife saw a 2214 and had to have it for a nice little back packing/hiking gun. The problem I'm having now is finding a holster to fit it. She really wants a paddle holster as she doesn't wear belts most of the time. I can't seem to find any fit charts that list this gun. Do any of you know of other guns that will fit the same holsters. That way I can order one for her, and know that the holster will work.

By the way, this seems to be like a really nice little .22. I got the gun in like new shape, box, and all accessories for $250. Did I do OK on this one?

You did very well on the price. I do not recall many holsters that were made specifically for the 422/622/2206/2213/2214 series of pistols. Your best bet is to go custom or choose a sloppy fitting generic nylon type holster. F.I.S.T. holsters show a mold for the full size series of these guns, you might inquire with them.

Had the same problem with my 2214.

Settled (for the time being) on a Blackhawk (nylon) No. 73NH05BK-R as an inexpensive alternative until I can find, or have made, a leather holster.

It's a snug, but adequate fit.

I have a Uncle Mikes #1 holster that I got with the used 4.5" 2206 I picked up for my son. It fits it really well.

Thanks for the info with FIST. I called them up and they can do it as they have a mold for the 622 and could accommodate barrel lengths, but, the holster would cost $160. YIKES!!!

For that price I think I'm going to have to keep looking.

Thank you for the idea though...at least it's something.

If anybody knows of a generic paddle holster that will fit it, please let me know.

Well guys, after going to 6 different gun stores yesterday (not like that was really that much of a chore) I found a paddle holster with a reasonably good fit. It's a Galco Paddle Lite Holster made for.....The Ruger LCR!

The paddle lite series are suede and so have almost no "boning" in the leather. The thumb break fits securely behind the beaver tail, and the length is almost spot on. There is a little slop in the overall size, but with the thumb break, it's very secure.
