22A 2x Pistol Scope

Been kicking around the idea of replacing the red dot with a 2x or ? I know absolutely nothing about pistol scopes. Any input would be appreciated.

I switched from a 1X red dot to a 2X Leupold pistol scope and my little Buckmark. I think it was a good move as it is super accurate now. Very happy with the switch. BT

I have a BSA Edge on my 22A. It is a 2-7 variable and it was difficult to put. The rear objective is so large that there is limited options in placement. I almost had to remove the rear sight. Performance wise, it does the job and the fun is accurate at 50 yds.
