Hello all, 24-3 should arrive soon for a look over. I was wondering if anyone might know the going rate for these. From the pics it looks pretty minty. No box or docs tho.I paid $1150 and can refuse the the purchase if needed upon inspection. It’s serial number is ABZ0350. This model had a serial number block out from 0001-9999. They made 7500 of these from 83 to 84. That # includes the 4” also. The block out of included other n frame models rounding out the 9999. I usually focus on the pinned and recessed stuff. This one seems to be a bit rare vs some of the p&r stuff I chase. What you say? Thanks

If you paid $1150 to include sales tax, shipping, internet seller fees (if any), and transfer fees, you did very well.

That is exactly what I bought one on GunBroker for two years ago. Mine had the box and everything all in new condition. Shipping, tax and fees were additional so add about 150.00. If you look long enough you can find one for less but that is close to the going rate. Nice one to have in a collection.

Thanks, wonder how how the sn block out worked. It’s sn would indicate it was the 350th made but depending on the way the block out worked it could even be lower than that I would guess. Who knows, lol. See what you guys did to me! Now I’m investigating serial numbers lol. All kidding aside I learn everyday here and want to thank you all.

I have ABZ0654 in 98% condition, no box/papers, for which I paid $600. The rest of the story is that was twelve years ago. I'd say $1150 OTD now is a pretty good price. Now you need the 4 and 3 inch versions.

Yep, never ends. This old gun hunting is harder than hunting a nice mature 8 or 10 point white tail. And just as fun!
