25-5, Yay or Nay?

Looks like the 5" 25-7, which was limited production as I recall and would be the first 45Colt revolver I would get if I were going to add a caliber to my stable.
 
I have all three bbl lengths. the solution is to load Remington swaged bullets in 250gr weight. they are usually .454 diameter with a small hollow base. load them to around 800fps with your favorite powder and enjoy. if you don't reload, then shoot Remington or Winchester ammo in 250gr. weight. otherwise,cast your own of the correct diameter.

I used to use the swaged lead Winchester bullets which are 0.455" dia and have a hollw base. Superb bullets for the large throat .45 revolvers.
 
Oh yes, you should definitely take that one home! I have a well worn four inch 25-5 that is one of my favorites.
