25 ACP: Devastation waiting to happen

Had a large young kid working for me in Washington state. One Monday he did not show up for work but did arrive on Tuesday. He said he had a good excuse for missing Monday. He pulled his pants down to show 2 bandages on his thigh. Seems he was dancing with a married woman in a bar and her husband took exception and told him to go to the parking lot and settle the issue. Danny was a big stout roughneck and the husband wasn't. Danny thought this would only take a second or two and he was correct. As hubby approached, Danny heard a load bang and saw the pavement hit him in the face. He had been shot in the thigh with a 25 ACP. The bullet passed nearly all the way through , and was against the skin on the off side. The doctor made an x shaped incision and pulled the bullet, all done without anesthesia . Danny protested but the doctor explained that anyone dumb enough to go in public with a wife that wasn't his, didn't deserve pain killers.

"Well the crowd cleared away and I began to pray,
and the water fell on the floor.
And I'm telling you Son, it ain't no fun,
Staring straight down a .44"

Gimme Three Steps just wouldn't be the same if it had been a .25.

I was given about 5,000 rounds of 25ACP that was made in the late 1980s by a company called Personal Protection Systems (PPS). Its literature states to shoot a 29 gr. hollow point copper bullet at 1,200 fps out of a 2.5" semiauto. I have shot some out of my PSP and Galesi and the stuff is hot. It didn't feed in my Colt Vest Pocket or Titan because of the hollow point.

I just don't know if the PSP and Galesi are made to shoot that many rounds!

Those are just fake numbers, look at them, they go from 1 to 8 and some random repetitions. It's likely just semi-random garbage/placeholder that the author quickly typed in:

I went to the website and the owner said that he lost " all his data in 1995", the data for the 25acp is the same as his data for 22 Remington Jet, 17 Remington, and I am sure all others have the same data. I was curious when I saw the numbers the OP first posted and considered that this may be "new technology" where you put a black hole into a case and fill it with powder?! 7777 muzzle energy, over half that of a 50 BMG in a 25 case??. Be Safe

111
2222
33.3
33.4
44,444
55,555
6666
7777
88

He did that for a number of other calibers as well, right up to .50 bmg.
I think the guy just put up click bait.
