25 rnd mag???

Tacticool are you saying there should be a way for us to legally own a 15-22 25 round magazine with the correct paper work? If so point me in a direction so i can look into this.

My opinion and any legal advice have nothing to do with each other. I am not a lawyer and do not claim any knowledge of any laws.
I do however have no problem expressing my views on things. Such as in Oregon, you can shoot with and carry any size magazine you want, but the rule for hunting is;
"Semiautomatic rifles with a magazine capacity greater than five cartridges prohibited (except for western gray squirrel)."
Which I think is dumb. Even if you had one of those fancy 60 round magazines for your AR, who would put that many into a deer. There are rules about shooting more deer than you have tags on the books already.
Good luck in Kalifornistan.

If that is true then this is applicable;
"Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry." ~Thomas Jefferson
and this too
"The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first." ~ Thomas Jefferson

From what I understand, here in California it's true and Thomas Jefferson (one of my favorite people in history) is right on.

You could take the 10rd mag apart and remove the limiter pin, then it's 25rd but still says 10rd on it but that would probably get you in some trouble too.

I suggest moving out of California. :D

Ok redbull and tacticool point me in a direction and help me out with the wording and i'll write and send the letters.

I can even post this topic on a few other forums and see if i can get a few other people involved.

And for the NRA I'm not a member will that affect anything as far as they're help?

$25-$35 will get your membership taken care of--and dunno if you travel at all but there are rental car and hotel discounts specifically for NRA members...oh and you get the cool lil 'patch' by your name on here :D

as far as the info hit Google and type in Congressional Email addresses or Email the NRA and ask

if the state allow LEO to have 25 round mags in rimfires its a good place to start with the argument--its asinine to think those LEO officers arent exploiting it for their own benefit

My buddy.

My buddy is a CO and he says they can buy 25 round mags with no problem, also I dont think his AR's have a BB.
