2A vs President Obama

Love him or hate him, you have to congratulate Mr. Obama for his ability to destroy his opponents.

He decimated the Republican party!

On his first term he invested all his time and focused his rhetoric solely on this point, then campaigned on it and as we saw the results of the last elections, he passed the goal line my friends.
He scored!
Big time!

If anybody thinks after his second term we may have a Republican president, you are dreaming!

Because during the next decade (Mr. Obama's 4 yrs and next Democrat president's 2 term) slowly, slowly they will nibble away 2A and by the time 2020 hits, all you'll be left with a slingshot in your hand, sitting on your front porch and thinking, "what the heck just happened?"

President's rhetoric always mentioned;

- If you are a Republican defending 2A.
....You are a gun toting, ammo hoarding, bible thumper, paranoiac, heartless person who doesn't want to do anything to stop the gun violence killing our children in masses.
Conclusion: You are an EVIL Republican!

- If you are a Republican defendin Marriage act.
....You want to harm the feelings of people in love which happened to be the member of same sex.
Conclusion: You are an EVIL Republican!

- If you are a Republican defending legal immigration.
His explanation: You hate immigrants!
Conclusion: You are an EVIL Republican!

- If you are a Republican defending an unborn child's right to life.
.... You have a war on women and hate women!
Conclusion: You are an EVIL Republican!

and on and on.......

Since last 4 years when public being bombarded with these kind of rhetoric with the help of the liberal media, people eventually lost their appetite towards Republicans.

Once you fell into this category there is no way people even consider to listen your argument or believe you, even if you were 100% right.

No wonder so called "Universal Background Checks" have nearly 90% support of the people.
Rather than risking to be blamed with being an evil person most Republicans begin to think that if they agree with something President saying they will look good & civil and be appreciated.

This way of thinking will bring the end of 2A quicker.

So, I say pack your guns and ammo in a large box.
It'll make it easier to hand them out when they come to your door.

I have to agree with you that Obama is doing a good job trying to destroy the GOP but there are 150 million Americans that do not agree with him (the popular vote at the last election reflected that) If Obama and the Liberal Dems are capable of doing what you said my friend, let me tell you something: forget about not only the 2nd but all the Amendments, this will be for sure the end of the Democracy and by 2020 this country will be like Venezuela, Cuba or North Korea . At least my family, my friends and I will fight for not let this happen.

Jim....I would make a few changes......Load you guns, load your magazines and prepare to defend your freedom if any Oath breaker makes the sad mistake of coming to collect your guns. I do not think it will come to that...I do believe there are enough of us that they will get the message that our second amendment is not up for negotation. "Not to be infringed" means what it says. Gov Como needs to be educated in Constitutional Rights and I believe the people of NY will reach the limit of what they will put up with.

After resisting my idea for a long time, my wife, a die-hard Californian for 55 years, for the first time in her life agreed to leave CA when we retire in 2 years and move to TX or AZ or some other state where 2A and other traditional American values are protected and appreciated.

We saw what happened after Katrina.
When asked everybody handed over their weapons like a good kid...

That's why we have to take precautions in our local communities for not to allow the above scenario ever happening like electing Sheriffs who are strong 2A and Concealed Carry supporters

I do not think that he did a great job in his fariy tale speech after all most of the people around him follow him like little puppies. He has rubbed a lot of Amercains wrong Trying to force the people to do what they don't want to do.He has undoubtedly under estimated the American people . The same blood that ran through our Forefathers still runs throw our veins and it is hard to break the will of true patriots. I have not given up nor will I ever give up . We have done nothing wrong and we are not the problem .
We should all stick together and write call and keep on writing and calling until they get the message that we are not going along with his gun bans and that it is our right paid for with the blood of honest Amercains blood and sacrifice .We will win it may take some time and sacrifice but we will win.

President Obama has always rubbed many Americans the wrong way, but this last election was decided by people voting for their party instead of voting for their freedoms. Now we are seeing what many of us feared would happen and the complaining starts. Hope it is not too late.
