OK folks, for those of you always looking for these pistols....I'll post some information that might be of interest. I really like the 2nd & 3rd gen. Smiths myself, but I have NO need for more guns.....and I've decided that I don't WANT any more, for now.

The following shop has a number of interesting 2nd & 3rd gen. guns (and at least one 1st gen.). I noted the following, the last time I was there:

1 915
1 39-2
At least 4 6906's
Several 5906's
Several others....I don't remember the model numbers, but they are the same size as the 3913, but with double stack (12 round mags).

Prices on these pistols vary between $279.....and $359 (the $359 guns are the 6906's). Many are right around $300.

Some of these pistols show a lot of exterior wear, several are quite nice. Most of them are police trade-ins. I have NO other details, so don't ask me.

The shop is: Sovereign Guns

The second tidbit is as follows.....

I went to a local shop this afternoon, to pick up some more primers for reloading. I spotted probably the NICEST 5904 I'd ever seen. This pistol has only a LITTLE bit of holster wear on each side of the muzzle. The rest of the gun is practically PRISTINE. The grips show NO wear, so probably this pistol has been shot very little. The gun is in the shop on consignment. It is a package deal, with 2 mags, 440 rounds of FMJ ammo...and some sort of holster included. The price is $450. I do NOT know if the original box or papers are included....and I have NO other details on this.

This shop is: Young Guns
Apex, NC

That's it.....my good deed for the day. Have at it, gentlemen....and may you find something that strikes your fancy.

PS - I have absolutely NO connection with either of these shops, so I have nothing to gain. I just thought that passing this info on might be a nice thing to do, since S&W autos are apparently hard to find in some areas on the country.
