I got a J-Frame squared rear sight blade to install on my 317, to replace the V-notched model. Problem is I can't figure out how to remove the V blade. Is there some special trick or tool to accomplish the swap?

Thanks! More complicated than I thought. Now it's a real project!

Actually the screw is designed to break and meant to for removal. It isn't as complicated as it seems and as long as you have some mechanical skills it is an easy job. The parts kit it not expensive and there is a low downside risk in doing this job. The hardest part is not loosing the tiny plunger-lol!
