.32 HE 1903 5th Change - DOB?

My oldest S&W.

Blued, 4.5" barrel, serial # 1645xx. I know it was made in the 1910's; can anyone narrow the date down?

We will be shooting this gun over the summer, with 2.2 grains of Trailboss and a cast lead bullet. I would be interested to know if it has turned 100 yet. DOB, anyone? Thanks.

I posted with exactly the same question on exactly the same model a week ago, with very sparse comeback. Mine is # 147,7XX. I was hoping to hear back from someone who might have a lettered one from the general vicinity, but no such luck. Just one general suggestion of 1912/13, which would put yours probably 1913/14. So I'll have to wait until the letter comes in four months or so.

You're welcome. Btw., a minor detail, your barrel should be 4.25", not 4.5".
