Hi Guys, a question on a S&W marked revolver I own.It appears to be a nickle 3" .32 S&W break open safety hammer less revolver. It came with a pocket/vest holster and a bag of S&W 32 ammunition that chambers, but I've never fired it. The s/n is 127xx.It is in nice condition, mechanically fine, with some light scattered nickle loss. The trigger is blued(case hardened?), while the trigger guard is blued. The safety works, as does the ejector, it locks up nice and times properly. Can anyone tell me when this rev was made? and a rough value? Thanks in advance,
JMC

You have an early 1st Model of the .32 Safety Hammerless. I think you meant the trigger is case hardened, which is correct along with the blue trigger guard. While these didn't necessarily ship sequentially, #17475 shipped in July of 1890, so that should give you a general time frame. Can't say much from the pics, but I'd guess $200-250. They're a fun little gun to shoot.

Thank you sir, and right I did mean, "trigger" not "hammer". Will fix post, and everyone will wonder what we're talking about;)
