A pre-war (or post-war) Terrier in .32 S&W Long would be quite valuable seeing as how the Terrier was a .38 S&W built on a .32 RB frame.
If what you have is in .32 Long, it's a .32 Hand Ejector of some sort, not a Terrier.
Post the serial and a picture or two, someone will be able to identify which .32 HE it is.

When you say Terrier (which as was mentioned only refers to 2" .38 S&W cal guns on the same size frame with round butt), I'm presuming it has a 2" barrel which wasn't offered until 1949 an pegs your gun as a .32 hand ejector postwar (WWII) model. If the serial # is between 536685 and 712953, that clinches it. If within the same serial # range but has a square butt (wood only), it's a 32 Regulation Police. If it has a different length barrel but still in that serial# range, it's still one of those two models depending on the rd or sq butt.
