.32 S&W Long

If I could find a 4 inch 32 barrel like Hondo's one of my J frame 32 would end up milled for a J frame rear sight assembly.
Even barrel blank with a suitable twist is hard to find, I bought a old 32-20 rifle barrel to get some for my project 32
a 10-7 transformed with a K22 barrel made into a sleeve

I think you might find a Ruger or a maybe a Taurus 32 with adj sights for under a grand. It would take luck to find a Smith for that. But, I just combed through gun broker and right now the only DA 32 cal was a Ruger GP100 in 327 Federal for $1800, there were a few Ruger single actions.

There is one other 32 with adjustable sights that no one mentioned, though it's more current. Don't forget the model 632-1 in 327 Federal. Mine is my favorite!

Yes, and if anyone is wondering, it'll shoot all 3 cartridges: 32 S&W Long, 32 H&R and 327 Fed Magnum, (also the old S&W .32 shorter parent cartridge, of course).

Another Smith. Preferable blued, pinned barrel, 60s-70s. Maybe I should just get off my butt and look at my Standard Catalog.
