32 S&W Top Break info needed

Hello All,

Was hoping to get some info on this .32S&W Top Break revolver. The barrel is 3 inches long. Serial number is 219039 marked on the bottom of the grip and in the cylinder. It has top break fixed sights.

Any ideas on when it was made and are they fairly easy to disassemble to clean it well?

Your pistol appears to be a 3rd model .32 Safety Hammerless. Manufactured 1909-1937.

The date puts your revolver in the WWI era. One somewhere around 1916 to 1919.

"...and are they fairly easy to disassemble to clean it well?" I don't recommend taking it apart. There are a few delicate parts that can be harmed, and reassembly can be challenging. I recommend removing the stocks and flushing the innards with an aerosol brake cleaner, carb cleaner or BreakFree. Allow the cleaner to dry and spray the mechanism with Rem-Oil or equivalent.
