The first thing I would do is get a couple of friends to shoot it and see if they group where you do. If you have access to a Ransom rest, you might try clamping the gun down and shooting some groups with that. Another strategy is to have a friend load a few chambers in the cylinder randomly, then give it to you to fire. If the gun is making motions when you release on an empty chamber, you have some kind of recoil anticipation issue that needs to be addressed.

Assuming you can independently confirm a low hit problem, I'd call the factory and tell them you have a gun that is WAY out of adjustment and ask them to fix it for you.

Have you tried it off sandbags? Have a buddy try a few shots. If he puts them in the dirt too, the gun needs to be checked out.

However, I think maybe, your flinching...
To prove it, have a buddy load 4 and leave a few empty. When you snap it on the empty chamber, you will know for sure if you react and shove the gun downwards when the hammer drops.

Not flinching, I shoot ALOT. Army sniper back in the day. Live in the country and have a 600 meter shooting range out the back door so I fire something just about every day....
The 4" 325PD plops all 6 into one raged hole @ that range.

It may be something simple, such as the wrong height of front or rear sight being installed (they are both sourced from outside companies, Cylinder and Slide and XS). I'd measure them both carefully, then give the factory a call to see if they are correct. If so, you already have them on the line to request a shipping label for a return...

Then the only options are to re-adjust your aim, or to lower the front blade, or much heavier loads or a trip back to see if the barrel is on properly.

I have the 325NG and it is very accurate. I will say Big Dot sites can take some getting used to if you have not used them before. On a side note how is your double action trigger pull? Mine had to go back to S&W to have it adjusted. It was very heavy.

I have big dots on a number of glocks, love em. Called S+W today. They are sending a ship box 4 it. Tech guy thinks the barrel may be missaligned.... How can it leave the factory in that condition????

But a test fire would bring that problem in focus would it not?

Years ago while attending an armorer school, I got to take a tour of the S&W plant. It was explained that workers were paid by the "piece" and that everyone wanted to work as a test firer, until they found out how boring the job was. They have to just stand there, load and empty gun after gun with no chance to check targets or groups. Just fire as many guns as fast as you can to make as much $ as you can. Apparently, the testers frequently suffer from back and shoulder injury from the quantity of recoil they endure. They make sure your gun will fire a complete load of cartridges and not explode and not much else.

My 325NG was eight inches left at 20 yards as it came out of the box. After a trip back to the factory it shot much better. Changed the sights to a Bowen express style, changed the grips to a nice set of wooden ones and now it's my frequent companion. :D
