25012 is pretty thin, side to side. They don't feel as thick to me, sort of flatter and less round. Kind of like the JM grips.

Thanks! I'm going to try a set!

To the OP, you are going to love your new revolver. I am so into my N-frames, that I sold all but one of my semi-autos, and would likely have sold the last if not for the ammo inventory on hand.

The questions you asked have been answered so all I will say is buy one!! Mine has crimson trace laser grips, fiber optic front sight, hogue extended cylinder release and some custom leather holsters. It is by far the best revolver I have ever owned and I carry it often. I'm at around 2,000 rounds and two duty qualifications with it. It truly is a fine defense weapon and fun as you know what at the range. Buy a moon clip loading/unloading tool and let her rip!!

Well, She's here! I actually got to hold her for a couple of minutes, then back in the box! Now she sits lonely for 10 days, until I can hold her and admire again.

Man does California gun laws suck!

Congrats on a fine acquisition! California-what a joke.
The really bad part is my FFL is home based (lower fees, and a great person to deal with) and 10 days will be 4th of July.
I've already told him to enjoy his weekend, and I'll call him on the 6th.

Man that has to suck.No toy for the holiday.

Yep!
But I have to look for the silver lining.
It gives me time to buy up some goodies like BMT Mooner, Moonclips, and ammo.

Of course with the holiday, it means extra days in shipping.

Wait this really does suck!
Thanks again California!

Now I'm looking at a TRR 8 shot. Rookie question, but it's bugging me...what's trr stand for? Thanks
